This Friday we will be tapping a special beer, “Perky Porter” (coffee porter), provided to us by our good friends at Stillmank Brewing in Green Bay. I first met Brad Stillmank when he was working at SKA Brewing in Durango Colorado. Brad had won a contest to guess the number of Briess malted milk balls in a jar. The winner was able to run a special roasting on the old “K Ball” machines at Briess Industries in December of 2006. Peter Stillmank, Brad’s dad, is a frequent visitor to our tasting room and after talking several times, decided we would like to do something together. We thought a nice coffee porter would be a good addition to our St. Paddy’s Day tap list. So, come in, sit back, listen to some live music and enjoy the Perky Porter brewed by Stillmank Brewing!
